First we grabbed some some sandpaper squares from the dollar store. With 30 squares in the pack you can’t go wrong.
Next we took some felt from the craft box
Next we cut the felt into circles, rectangles and triangles. (and sandy squiggles)
Now let your toddler create their very own desert scene. The felt sticks to the sandpaper and we’ve got the sand, sun and pyramids. Best of all it’s repositionable. Use it as a learning tool to talk about shapes.
